It's never easy to say goodbye to our fur friend, our family member, our closest companion.

I believe that as your dog's guardian, you deserve treasured memories of the unique and unconditional bond of love and trust between you both - a love that you will carry in your heart forever.

Through dog photography, by capturing that unconditional love between you, I celebrate the relationship you and your dog have and preserve permanent memories to be treasured forever. Together, we can do everything possible to create One Last Magical Adventure for you and your dog.

With the sensitivity, compassion and patience expected from a certified Pet Loss Grief Specialist, I deliver photography that honours your dog, and can also help connect you with a network of additional professionals to help you on your personal grief journey.

I am proud to be part of One Last Network and be certified with them as a Pet Loss Grief Specialist.  I feel as a Dog Photographer, I can now better support my clients as they work through the anticipatory grief of facing the future without their best friend.  As well as having more understanding and empathy, I can help them on a practical level by connecting them to other professionals such as grief counsellors.

One Last Magical Adventure

Whether it's due to illness or age, this may be the last opportunity to get some professional photographs of you and your dog, and that bond of unconditional love between you. These sessions are sometimes referred to as Memory or Legacy Sessions, and occasionally Rainbow Bridge or End of Life Sessions. As you and your dog deserve the best, I prefer to prepare well for you and your dog, and create One Last Magical Adventure with you.

Through One Last Network, I certified as a Pet Loss Grief Specialist together with a group of other professional dog photographers across the world.  We have all undergone specialist training and education to better understand the various stages of grief and pet loss.

There are very few professional dog photographers who are also certified as Pet Loss Grief Specialists. I can now provide an even more compassionate and supportive environment for my clients who are experiencing the anticipatory phase of pet loss, including:
  1. Capturing the unique relationship between you and your dog: I create photographs that truly reflect the unconditional love and trust between you.
  2. Helping clients celebrate their dog’s memory: I work closely with a small number of local empathetic likeminded providers who create timeless tributes to your dog.
  3. Connecting with professionals: I have a list of local professionals and resources that you may find helpful on your personal grief journey.

Testimonial

We had a great experience with Chris and Sue.

Our boy Hugo was diagnosed with a huge tumour on his heart, and not knowing how much time we had left with him I phoned Chris to see if they could fit in one of their One Last Magical Adventure experiences.

At very short notice, Chris met us at our favourite local park, one where Hugo loved to go.

Chris spent time getting to know Hugo, and nothing was rushed.  Everything was at the the pace that Hugo was comfortable to be at. We had a great time with Hugo.

Chris managed to capture his personality and, somehow, his youth again. We couldn't be more pleased with their service.

The quality of the album and wall art, and attention to detail is second to none.

I would highly recommend MIL Pet Photography to anyone that wants a treasured memory. Thanks again Chris and Sue

“I believe that you and your dog deserve the best, and to have One Last Magical Adventure together. I will be honoured and privileged to capture treasured memories of the love you share.” - Chris Miller, MIL Pet Photography

I am here to help celebrate the relationship you and your dog have, and preserve permanent memories to be treasured forever.

I have shed many tears from missing our own beloved pets.  I aim to capture the deep bond of unconditional love and joy between you and your dog, preserving beautiful portraits and memories that will comfort and reconnect you with meaningful moments to treasure forever.

You and your dog deserve the best, and to have One Last Magical Adventure together. I'd be honoured and privileged to capture these treasured memories of the love you share, and the joy they bring to your life. To create photographs that will tell your dog's lasting story, honouring their life, and help provide comfort to you during difficult times.

For some of our clients, it can be a way to help them remember all the happy moments they shared with their dog and help them cope with the loss of their dog. For others, it can be a way to share their dog's memory with friends and family.

The anticipatory grief of facing the future without their best friend impacts people in so many different ways. I am here to help make sure that photographs from a session like this can help you tell others your own dog's story and all the special moments you shared with them, which can also help you heal and create a sense of closure. Photographs taken at this time can help you keep the memories of your dog alive for years to come, remembering all the special moments you shared together.

Whilst we encourage all dog owners to have a MIL Pet Photography Experience while their dog is still young and active, we realised early on that sometimes that just doesn't happen, and at other times ill health can come unexpectedly too. The most recent fur loss in our family was at just seven years old.

On a personal level, I have just one photo of my first dog, Jenny, a rescue Greyhound - fortunately I am in that black and white photo with her, and it is still priceless to me. It's my goal to make sure that every dog lover has the opportunity to have beautiful dog photography to treasure.

For dog guardians, the bond with their furry friend is one of the most significant relationships they will ever experience. As a dog photographer, I am honoured to capture the special moments that define this bond and create memories that last a lifetime. It is in this spirit that I offer these sessions, which are not just about saying goodbye, but also about celebrating the life of our beloved companions.

For many dog guardians, the thought of losing their furry friend can be daunting and emotionally overwhelming. That is why I encourage clients to plan ahead and schedule a session while their dog is still able to enjoy their favourite activities. Whether it's playing fetch in the park or cuddling together, these moments deserve to be captured and celebrated.

It's a common misconception that Memory Sessions should only be reserved for the end of a dog's life.  I strongly believe that there is no such thing as "too soon" to start capturing these precious memories.

Through my work as a dog photographer, I have come to appreciate the profound connection between dogs and their owners. I am passionate about capturing the joy and love that dogs bring into our lives and creating lasting memories that honour this bond. We can celebrate life and the special moments we share with our furry friends, making each moment count.

I am proud to be part of One Last Network and achieve certification in Pet Loss Grief to best support our clients as they work through the anticipatory grief of facing the future without their best friend.

I will do everything possible to make time in my calendar to accommodate last-minute requests.

I am here to help you by offering photography sessions to celebrate your dog’s life, and to help connect you with a network of additional professionals to help you on your personal grief journey.

MY NETWORK OF ADDITIONAL SUPPORT AND SERVICES

Celebrate your dog

You might have been considering a Legacy Session, an End-of-Life Session or sometimes called a Memory Session. You know the time to cross the Rainbow Bridge is not far away. I have the compassion, patience and creativity to deliver treasured memories for you in beautiful dog photography,

Let's celebrate the relationship you and your dog have and preserve permanent memories to treasure forever, and together we can create One Last Magical Adventure for you and your dog.

One Last Magical Adventure - £200

For many clients, they have an idea of what they would like in terms of Artwork. For others, and particularly for sudden illness, we understand that the time is an incredibly hard one to make decisions or purchases. Our One Last Magical Adventure is £200, with the priority on being available to photograph and capture some special moments.  This is inclusive of our time for the photography session, fully editing 21-30 photographs to the standard expected from a Dog Photography Master, and all ready for your viewing at your Viewing and Ordering Session.  We then provide the £200 back to you as an Artwork Credit to use at this session.

Delivery of Artwork

Capturing the precious moments of a beloved dog's life is a privilege that I hold dear. However, I understand that the passing of a furry friend can be a deeply emotional and painful experience. As a dog photographer, I strive to deliver Artwork with sensitivity and care, respecting each client's unique needs and timeline.

When a dog passes away, some dog guardians may want to see the photographs right away, eager to relive the happy memories that were captured. However, I also understand that others may need more time to grieve and process their emotions before revisiting these cherished moments. In such cases, I patiently wait until my clients are ready to view the Artwork and reminisce about their furry companions.

I believe that a sensitive delivery of Artwork is essential in helping dog guardians cope with the loss of their furry friends. My goal is to offer support and comfort during this difficult time, allowing my clients to grieve at their own pace. I am committed to being there for my clients whenever they are ready to revisit the memories of their beloved dog.

In summary, my clients can rest assured that when they entrust me to capture the special moments they share with their dog, I will be there for them with sensitivity and patience, delivering photography that honours the bond they shared with their furry companion.
